I’ve been quite ill this week with my second respiratory illness in 3 weeks. Long-time readers of my blog know that I struggle with asthma and respiratory illness because of my premature birth (new readers, see this post). I spent most of yesterday morning in bed, and my husband took Bee to school and picked her up.
When she got home, she presented me with this handmade card, along with a sprig of lilacs that she picked off our bush in the front yard.
I think that a heartfelt gift like this would make any Mom feel better.
