A Hair-Raising Dilemma

This picture was taken right after Cakes was born. As you can see, my hair was in a hasn’t-been-cut-for-ages-because-I’ve-been-on-bedrest, in-between stage. It’s kind of hard to tell from this photo, but at this point, it was a couple of inches below my shoulders.

Right before Cakesie’s baptism, I had it all cut off:

I wore it short for about a year, but since last Thanksgiving, I’ve been growing it out again:

Right now, it’s about 6 inches below my shoulders – the longest it’s ever been. It does have a bit of layering at the bottom, but I tend to be very cautious with layers. My hair has a lot of natural wave (it’s been tamed with a straightener in the third photo) and tends to frizz out, so if the layers are too short, it looks like a giant puffball and is completely unmanageable.

At its current length my hair is very thick and heavy, and I just don’t know what to do with it. Whenever I ask my husband what he thinks, he just says that I should do whatever I want, because he thinks I’m beautiful no matter what. That doesn’t help me!

So….as I seem to do with pretty much everything these days, I decided to ask you, my blog readers. Do you think I look best with short, long, or in-between hair?
