I have a bunch of unrelated stuff to write about today 🙂 First, I hope everyone had a great weekend! Ours was very busy. On Saturday, Bee and two other bunnies performed their recital dance at our local hometown celebration. Here they are waiting to go on stage,

and during their performance. They did great, and we were so proud of them!

We got the professional recital portraits in the mail last week. Now, I realize that I’m Bee’s mother, and therefore extremely biased, but is this not the cutest picture ever?

After Bee’s performance, we had pizza, and the girls had a great time jumping in the bouncy castle,

Yesterday we went to church, took a nap, and went out for ice cream. We also went to Best Buy to get a fire wire card and cable for my computer, so now I can finally upload all of our mini-dv videos, edit them, and burn them to DVDs so we can actually watch them! YAY! This has been on my to-do list for, oh…only about a year. I wasn’t happy about spending $75 to do this little project, but as my husband pointed out, if we didn’t spend the money on this, we would have spent it on more tapes. Now we can reuse the tapes we already have. I’ve been having fun playing around with Windows Movie Maker, adding transitions and titles. I’m really pleased with how easy it is to use, and it’s free! Now I just have to find someone who can burn all of the Hi-8 tapes from our old camcorder onto DVD.

Over the weekend, we discovered this nest of baby robins in our lilac bush,

While I was taking pictures, the mommy robin was very mad at me! She either circled my head, chirping and fluttering her wings noisily, or she sat up on a nearby telephone wire and chastised me severely,

Bee was nervous. She went and put her bike helmet on so she wouldn’t get “pecked on the head.” Smart girl! Smarter than me, obviously.

  1. Very very cute pictures.

  2. Yes definitely a cute picture – I love the fact the lady had bunnies for sale on her sign – made me laugh! Looks like you had a busy weekend. Looking forward to your ebay post.
    Renata 🙂

  3. Hope you enjoy the mix!

  4. Those have got to be the cutest bunnies I’ve ever seen.

… and I’m so excited about your Home Management Guide. I didn’t see this before and I plan to back through and read all its related posts. What a marvelous idea! I used to be so organized but since I’ve gone into my 40’s, I just can’t seem to keep everything straight. I need something like this to help me stay on track. I can hardly wait to read more!

    Thanks a bunch,
